My dear friend had to move here after falling at home. She loves it so much she’s trying to get me to move in also! I’ve visited her a few times over the last several months and I have to say I’m impressed by the staff and all of the activities they have going on.

March 3, 2023Thank you for your review, Steve! We are so glad you had such a good experience with our community and staff. We look forward to our relationship with you as well!
My Mother-n-Law loves her apartment! It’s a lot bigger than anything else we saw when we were looking around. One of our biggest concerns was if it flooded during Harvey since the whole area was under water and it didn’t!

I moved my wife here 2 months ago and couldn’t have made a better choice for her. I visit her daily and there are always activities going on! I had a question about my invoice (since I was new to this) and [name removed] the Office Manager explained everything in detail for me! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for Assisted Living.

This is a very inviting, beautiful and joyful place for the elderly/loved ones. When I come to this facility I see the residents around the fire place, smiling and enjoying the activities or adoring the fresh meals. The staff is always around them providing help or supporting their needs and the management is very understanding and involved in assuring that every needs has been address and every resident or family member is taking care of.

I'm very pleased and happy with the level of care and patience the staff has in accommodating my 92 year old mother. They are very kind and mindful of the responsibilities they have. From the administrators to the rest of the staff, they answer any and all concerns and address them immediately.

My mother has been living at Wood Glen Court for about 5 months now. This was a very difficult decision as I am sure it is for every person going through this transition. After visiting another facility down road I was very upset as it was so obvious that the staff and the residents were not happy. When I walked into Wood Glen Court it was the exact opposite, the staff was smiling, the residents were happy and engaged. Residents were greeted by staff by their name and with a smile. I knew this was the right choice. My mother moved in three weeks later. She thanks me every week for finding this place for her. She absolutely loves it! She participates in all the activities they offer and I know she is in good hands. The executive director [name removed] provides regular communication with emails with updates, which is SO appreciated. The nursing staff will call if needed keeping me informed of any concerns that may arise.

My [age removed] father needed to be in an Assisted Living facility due to his dementia. We moved him here in November 2021 and have been very happy with the care he has received. All of the employees are very friendly. [Name removed] the manager is very good about communicating with families about what is happening each week. They have been very responsive to any requests we have. It was important to us our father would be in a facility that could continue to care for him if his needs increased. I would definitely recommend Wood Glen Court to anyone looking for a facility for a loved one

At first I was just impressed with the look, set-up and location of this place. But, starting with the first day we moved mom into a studio apartment the people have become the star of the show. I was amazed so many of the staff know me when I walk in to visit my mom. I can't imagine the complexity of running a place like this or the difficulty of keeping your staff up beat and ready to help. I think they also do a great job in communicating with family about what's going on at the facility... not just events that we can take part in but even more serious concerns like someone getting COVID or stepping up precautions to deal with a situation.

The new chef [name removed] has done an incredible job of re-creating the menu. The food is fresh, tasty, and we love it! He made chicken cordon bleu from scratch, and we have Fish Friday’s! If you come here, make sure to try the Salisbury steak, it is awesome.

This building is lively, active, and very well kept. The Executive Director is very hands on and has such a great heart! The Activity Director is the very best at what she does, and the residents are always having fun! The 1 bedroom is my favorite floorplan of all, especially if you get a courtyard view! For the price, this place is hands down the best in Spring.

We chose Wood Glen Court because compared to all the others we looked at, it was the only place that did not make me sad. The atmosphere was bright and cheery and everyone was really happy so it was all around the best choice for us. The staff are great about everything and go above and beyond to help out. My dad loves the food and raves about it to us. We would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We chose Wood Glen Court because we felt that the energy and social atmosphere was superior to others that we looked into. The room sizes at the facility are better than average. The overall space is well laid out with lots of activity rooms, libraries, tv rooms, etc. that residents are able to enjoy if they want. I would recommend them to others looking.

Don't pay for this facility to clean your parents room. Their room is constantly filthy and the facility did not even notice that my parents were COVERED in bed bugs. Then they did not offer to help with replacement expenses of furniture. If it takes 100 days (3months+) to have an infestation then I believe there is a problem here because my parents had a major infestation.

A Place for Mom has scored Wood Glen Court 10 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
