I have so much gratitude for The Waters of Plymouth. My beloved husband was given the attention and care with the utmost dignity he so deserved from his 1st day of residency in the memory care unit to his last. Thank you - I'm forever grateful! -Beth C.

This was a good community during the tour. The staff were very helpful, and responsive. There was no vacancy at the time for my friend.
Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was excellent.
We have had a great experience so far. My parents have been at The Waters of Plymouth since [date removed]. Mom was very resistant to moving. Now that they're there, she says, "We should have done this long ago!" Staff is professional and kind. They all do a good job in spite of the continued struggles brought on by Covid. Their Covid safety protocols are top notch.

I am really disappointed in the lack of engaging activities that are mentally stimulating. I tried really hard to find a place that had a good chef. This chef was replaced after a short period and the quality of food declined. The dining room is constantly being shut down over and over. They seem to send out sandwiches a lot. It was covid and then flu but you cut out dining for all residents. The residents seem to be very shut in. It's now very secluded and harmful to their mental state. They were not communicating to residents during some sprinkler system issues, so my loved one had no idea if she needed to rush outside due to a fire when it was actually a sprinkler system but she heard the fire alarm. No one was there to tell her otherwise. For what we pay, I would expect the care to be top notch. That is just not the case here.

The meals themselves are really good but with the staffing shortage the dining service is slow so sometimes the meals are cold and takes awhile to get delivered. The activities are wonderful.

Our family had an in person tour and the facility was great, it had great amenities but at the time they only had availability in the memory care and our loved one was just not ready for that level of care yet.
This community was very nice we were just not ready for the changes. There also was no bathtub in the units and you had to pay extra to park in the lot.
This is an exceptionally beautiful community. This is exactly what my loved one is looking for and he is beyond happy. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with everything that my loved one needs.

We chose The Waters because they seemed to want to really work with us to get dad in in the timely manner that we had. He first moved into assisted living but within a month has been completely independent. The apartment sizes are very good. he absolutely loves the food, they are chef prepared meals. Would like more activities provided especially in the evenings. I would recommend them.

This community just felt right, the recruiter we spoke with was very helpful in the beginning and she seemed to really care about what was going on. The rooms are excellent, there is a variety to choose from. We would recommend this community to a family or friend. The only criticism we have with their COVID measure are a little to harsh. There has been no ability for my siblings or I to go visit our loved one unless it is through a glass window or out on the deck in the hot sun. We do understand and sympathize, but they just have not been very accommodating.

The environment is lovey. They have a nice mix of residents, they have a good number of men. They do a good job. My mom likes it. Things have declined since COVID, The residents have been pretty isolated. The food is not the best.

My Dad and I appreciate [name removed], the Director of Operations, giving us a wonderful tour. This is a beautiful facility. The size of the apartment is quite small for the money. The staff is friendly.

We were there when it was new. The food was excellent. The front desk was always friendly. The help was good but as time went on the service declined!!! There were accidents that were NEVER reported. There was some nursing help that was good but the head nurses came and went and you could not get a hold of them. My husband fell, broke bones because no one answered his call. He had broken bones and I was not called nor was a doctor called. We were happy to leave!!!

Everyone at this facility is friendly and genuinely care about the residents. She (my mother-in-law) couldn’t be more pleased with the care she has received. She feels safe and secure and that is a blessing.

I moved into Waters with the perfect apartment for my needs. After finding out my needs exceeded their help in the independent living community I was moved to the Enhanced Care area in the Marsh. I made many friends and enjoyed all the people I met including nurses, caregivers and staff. I was active in many areas and happy except my apartment location. I had one other person in the same area whom was invaded get my space. He would come into my room and stare at me when sleeping and in other areas I was not comfortable with. It was a lock down facility to protect all but I was not able to open the doors and relied on others for assistance. I was uncomfortable with this situation and moved to another place. I pray for my friends at the Waters and hope to see them again. Thank you for your concern.

A Place for Mom has scored The Waters of Plymouth 8.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
