[Name removed] also helps all of us with needs in our rooms. I have been very pleased with the staff, activities, food mostly and how they help everyone. We get along well. Our bus driver, [name removed], is super. [Name removed] puts together movies for us in our theatre room, plus helps all of us.

Caregivers, med techs, front desk, nurses, management, food service at Solana do an outstanding job of caring for the residents. (I can only really speak to mom's care.) The activities director also does an outstanding job keeping my mom involved.

My family and I have been so grateful for everyone at The Solana. Our aunt moved to the Assisted Living Vintage Park and was welcomed with open arms. It was a difficult transition, and the encouragement and care from the staff and management was professional and comforting. I love this place and the people who work there!

Solana was wonderful... although our mom never got out of the hospital to move into her apartment. We had moved her belongings in and it was beautiful, but she never got to even see it. It would have been perfect for her. They were so sweet to us.
Our loved one had passed away before they were able to experience anything. We moved their furniture in and had to move it out a week later and they staff were just fabulous, respectful, compassionate and loving during that tragic loss. The staff were very nice and we would without hesitation recommend The Solana Vintage Park to other families.
We toured with The Solana Vintage Park and it was quite nice. It definitely had a more warm and friendly atmosphere. After doing some further research into things on our own, we just decided this was not going to be a good fit for our loved one. After we toured the place we picked, there was just no comparison.

We didn't care for them. They were just too big for my loved one, and she never really took to the place. They had some good people there, and I feel like they tried.
Response from The Solana Vintage Park
April 7, 2022We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Our staff is committed to providing the highest-quality service and care and we will share your feedback with our management team.
The Solana Vintage Park is expensive but it really is a great place and we know our loved one is safe. It is newer, and up to date, but the assisted living side does not really have a nice outdoor area. It is small with little trees, but on the memory care side the outdoor area is fabulous. We also like that the community is only a couple minutes away from our house.

The Solana at Vintage Park Assisted Living gives the impression of being a warm and caring environment that can provide the proper care for the elderly. Our experience was far different from this impression. Shortening a very long story, a short while after my mother and father moved into the Solana my mom exhibited some mental decline issues, which my family was addressing. The Solana was unwilling to work with us in a timely and fair fashion and offer various support care solutions for our mom. Solana's solution was to immediately ship her off to a psychiatric facility for a two week evaluation. We did not think that was in my mother's best interest and were working on alternatives. Ultimately, the Solana made the abrupt decision to evict my mother; threatening to call the sheriff if she did not leave the premises within 24 hours. Having to find another facility within 24 hours and also separating my mother from my father, who is a stroke victim and confined to a wheelchair, were far from warm and caring actions. This situation caused our family to scramble and find a new living situation that met the complex and divergent needs of both of my parents, in addition, to properly address the changing condition of my mother. This traumatic experience caused further decline for both my parents as the routine they had established in making the Solana their "home" was totally disrupted. This entire situation could have and should have been handled in a much more compassionate, non hostile, and cooperative manner by The Solana and Brookdale. Instead, The Solana jeopardized my parent's well-being and created a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress for our family. it is our hope that no one will have to experience what we experienced with our loved ones. Do not be fooled by all of the sales hype that the Solana has mastered. Ask tough and probing questions and do not assume that they will always act in your loved one's best interests

I was convinced by the solana vintage park community sales/marketing personnel back in [date removed] (stay with brookdale and save $) to move my dad from independent living to this assisted living community. After signing all paperwork, I went to get keys to move in and they informed me they changed their mind and decided my father was not suited for their community. Needless to say I moved on and found him another community for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, the community we moved to does not provide adequate daily activities for my father. Good luck in finding a community that really cares for the residents more than themselves.

We were very impressed by this facility. It looks like it will meet all of our needs. We have some followup to do concerning an evaluation of my mother to determine if she can go into the general population until a room opens in the memory care unit or not. Due to cancelling our first visit of the day, we went to Salana Vitage Park almost 3 hours early. We asked if we could get our tour early and they were very accommodating.

This is a beautiful facility. It felt too much like independent living. We didn't see very many residents out and about or staff It just didn't feel like the right seeing for what we needed.

I toured this community, and thought it was very nice. It's a rather new community, and the place itself is very beautiful. The issue is that the views are not very good. My loved one would either have a highway or a store parking lot to look at outside her window, which is not something I wanted for her.

We moved my mother into Solona Vintage Park, and our experience has been fantastic. Though my mother is usually not able to participate, they have so many activities available for the residents such as Bingo, sing-alongs, off campus events, and social hours. They even have an in-house beauty Salon. The food always looks good, and even if mother isn’t too keen on them, the meals always look complete an nutritious. The grounds are quite well-kept at all times, and the inside is very nicely decorated. The staff is very attentive, but sometimes there can be miscommunication about when medications need to be taken, which can lead to occasional skips. Overall though, Solana has been fantastic for my mother and our family, and I would absolutely recommend the community to others.

Everything is going just fine! The staff are friendly and the facility is very clean. Though my loved one doesn't like to participate in activities too much, there are plenty opportunities for him to get out and participate!

A Place for Mom has scored The Solana Vintage Park 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
