This community is probably OK for Independent Living. But I would suggest you keep looking if you need assisted living care. The staff turnover - at all levels - is constant and new additions are often poorly trained. Caregiver response time is very poor. You may wait over an hour for someone to come and help you. Manor Village is unable to provide solid medication management. Medications may be delivered late or not at all. All of this is so unfortunate because Manor Village really is a beautiful community. Just poorly managed.

A friend I visit, lives here, and moved here from another local facility. I hear about, and have seen the excellent musical entertainment, and the delicious meals at this one! She loves it! Nice staff as well!

The staff and residents are so friendly. There was never an unpleasant smell. Also there is a variety of activities that has helped my Mom be more active which is good as it can slow the progression of Parkinson's. I definitely would recommend and already have.

We toured The Manor Village at Desert Ridge during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The facility is new and pretty. However, it felt a bit cold and more like a hospital/institution to us. We decided to continue on with our search.
After searching for the past year and a half for the perfect place to make our retirement move, my wife [name removed] and I finally found Manor Village and we knew immediately that we had found our niche. The building is two years old and the atmosphere of the Village, both inside and outside, is at once both contemporarily elegant and yet pleasantly welcoming. The décor and the interior color patterns are relaxing and each day is filled with a variety of activities in the numerous, modern facilities. The meal program is always varied, delicious, reasonably priced, and flexible. After deciding that the Village was the place for us, the administrative staff helped us with every step of the sometimes disquieting processes of moving and settling in.

My mom and I went to many senior living places over a years time. Trying to find just the right place.. The Manor at desert ridge has far exceeded my expectations of what senior living should look like. It's very much a family atmosphere. So many all inclusive activities. All staff know their residents names. My mom is happier than I ever could have expected. The staff is incredible. There is nothing they won't do to make sure their residents are well taken cate of. They are also for inclusive of extended family. There are so many staff members that I would like to thank for this incredible experience. One in particular is [name removed] as he was always available for any and all questions. . All staff goes above and beyond. My mom has now been there for approximately 6 weeks and couldn't be happier. My thanks to all who have been involved with this huge transition.

I toured this facility and it was beautiful. Cleanliness and friendliness were great. I felt it was too big for my loved one's needs, but very nice!
The Manor presents well. Its New, beautifully decorated, GREAT LOCATION. Floor plans are spacious but have no storage. The Food is HORRIBLE.. cafeteria quality at best. Small portions. Mushy, cold and ridiculous. BISTRO has never been open for meal options. Happy hour closed because some residence have a stomach ache? Huh? I am a friend of a new resident. And if she hadn't signed a lease she would move. Move in was exhausting. Unloading dock is very inconvenient and distant. Parking garage is unavailable to visitors. Special passes only. Very limited parking in front of building. Building is locked down at 6pm making it difficult to come and go. Rules twist and change daily confusing residents and family. Currently family CANNOT dine or even STAND in dining room or bar area. Must wait in hallway for to go food from kitchen. I delivered groceries TO MY FRIEND, so she can eat decent food on her own. Should be allowed to remove cost of dining from lease. Very disappointed.

I felt very comfortable leaving my loved one here. The staff are very kind and friendly. My loved one is very happy here. The Manor will deliver meals to the residents per their request. They have activities for the residents to participate in, if they choose.
