For 60 years, The Lighthouse has provided seniors in the Los Angeles, California, area with premier assisted living options. Its vibrant location is just a half an hour from the famous Hollywood sign. Shop around or grab a bite to eat at the many stores along Magnolia Boulevard. Residents also enjoy visiting the local senior center for volunteer events and activities.
Activities and social engagement opportunities help residents stay fully independent for as long as possible. The Lighthouse offers a host of amenities and activities, including games and Bible studies. Residents are welcome to check out a book from their on-site library, kick back in the lounge with a good movie, gather with friends and neighbors around the on-site piano, and dine on chef-prepared meals in their bright and spacious dining room.
Staff members are caring, kind-hearted, and prepared to tend to each resident’s evolving needs. They help provide a foundation for residents to live active, independent lifestyles, but are available 24 hours a day to provide personal and medical care. My father is very happy at this facility. He was very unhappy at two other facilities before we found this place. His room and the common areas are very clean. The meals are appetizing and there are plenty of options. The ownership and staff are very thoughtful and caring. I couldn’t think of a better place for my father and he is hard to please.

My mother in law loved living at The Lighthouse . The staff was friendly, encouraging and attentive. She loved the food and her room was always neat and clean. It is located right next to Toluca Lake and close enough to freeways to make visiting her easy. They took great care of her until she sadly passed away due to her medical issues. I am thankful to the admin and staff for all they did for her and I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

The owner's of the Lighthouse are very thoughtful and kind. I had some issues with my mom's checking account and they were sensitive to it and patient while I got it sorted out. My mother tended to be a loner and they made sure she ate in the dining room and had some interaction with others, without being pushy. My mom was well cared for. When it was time for Hospice to come in, they arranged that and the Hospice group was superior in their care and communication. Although my mom was only there for 2 months before she passed, they made the last of her time comfortable. I will be forever grateful to A Place for Mom for linking us up with The Lighthouse and to The Lighthouse for their high quality care.

Smaller community and sounds very nice but charge almost a full rate for each in our married couple so makes it wayyy out of our price range. That didn't include extra cost for medication management.

I checked out this place for my mother. The place is dark and dreary with smelly carpet. It was depressing! It looked dirty and smelled bad. I can't for the life of me figure out who would pay their price for a place like this. Not sure who wrote those great reviews but they make no sense! Go there and look!!!

My loved one's experience at The Lighthouse was excellent! It was like a little castle, so clean and different from other places he has stayed at. Unfortunately, my loved one needed a higher level of care but I am very thankful for the care he received at this community. They always paid attention to him and all of his needs. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone they're super.

Overall I had a nice tour of this community. The community looked nice, everything was spotless and smelled good. The staff was informative and answered all my questions. It was a bad location for the family to travel to, but it was a pleasant tour.

The Lighthouse was a beautiful community. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. There were a variety of activities for the residents to engage in. The reason we chose another place was simply the layout of the facility, my father wanted to be able to ride his scooter.

My brother has not adjusted well to this community and he is not very happy. The community is nice, but he feels the staff is unprofessional. He does not like the food, he feels they need more variety of choices. He has not been able to connect with the other residents. So we are going to explore more options for him. It is an okay community.

He loves it there! He is very happy. He raves about the food. The owners are absolutley nice. He says that everyone is just so friendly. He has not had a single complaint since he got there. Even the pricing and the value is good.

I went to see the facility. I liked it very much. The ladies I spoke with was very nice. They do not accept ssi. My brother can't afford it.
