The staff is friendly, concerned and diligent. Housekeeping - sweet ladies, very good. Communication with the family has been good. The move in process was easy. The meals are mixed. Some are good and some are not very good. My only complaint is the lack of transportation. We chose The Gardens for the transportation that could be arranged nearby. They have a very limited ability to accommodate, it seems, so I am always having to run to the pharmacy for my mom. The need better ability to schedule drivers. The driver they have is not friendly, from what I am told.... Read more

Of a dilemma that we don't know how to solve they should not have the assisted living area with ramp in the hallways. Also, sometimes I need help getting my mom to the doctors and they don't offer that service to assisted-living patients. Also, they won't let the assisted-living residence hang out in the lounge so they're quite isolated, that's not so great

The Gardens at St. Elizabeth has been really nice, and my mom is really happy. I think they give personalized care, and they're really friendly. It just has very good energy. I think they could use a lot more activities though.

This is a nice place to live. The church makes this a nice place. The staff are helpful and are responsive to any questions or concerns. Some of the activities available are trips, lunch, cards, tours, and more for the residents to choose from.

They make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. There are lots of activities for the residents to choose from. They send a calendar to you, placed at your door and in the elevator. I've already told friends about the community, and it is an exceptional community.

My mother is a resident at The Gardens at St. Elizabeth’s and it is so comforting to know that she is happy and safe. She is very active in the community and enjoys participating in the activities. The chapel is the icing in the cake. Being able to attend mass, on location, every day, was a big selling point for us. The staff are wonderful and always there for the residents. I am grateful and happy that my Mother can call it home.

It was horrible! It was dirty, and they were unfriendly. My mom is on oxygen and her tube was broken for two weeks before I finally called the oxygen company myself to have someone look at it. They left my dad sitting in the dining room after it was closed. He has dementia and didn't know where to go, and there was no one to help him. It was a lot cheaper, though! It was so close to my house, I thought it would be great. It was my first assisted living experience, so I didn't know what I was looking for when visiting communities.

A Place for Mom has scored The Gardens at St. Elizabeth 8.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
