Well, it was a little up-and-down for the first few months. The staff are caring and helpful. It's reassuring to know they'll contact us if there's a concern about my brother. The food is generally good and seems healthful. His apartment is a nice size and the building is contemporary, which is a good fit for him. I appreciate the secure parking garage.

Our family had an in person tour with The Belleview by Dial and we did not like it. I believe it was transitioning owners and while I liked it initially, follow through with sales staff became quite poor. I would not recommend it however maybe they've stabilized by now. Aside from poor communication by sales team it did not feel like a very alive place - rather a ghost town.
Read MoreThe facility has a great staff, and there are always activities. It is very clean and feels more like an extended stay hotel than assisted living. The view from the dining room is amazing and all residents I come across seem to really enjoy being there.

It's a modern facility. They recently underwent a change in management, and I've seen improvements under the new management. They do have some larger living units, which is nice. The food is pretty good, and the views form the dining hall are awesome. They have a full spectrum view of the front range. And the care staff works hard.

It is new and bright and cheerful. It was just bought by another company in mid-October, so going thru some transition issues but nothing major. Very friendly staff. Good place for the price. And they have great Mountain Views from the top floor (6th) where the dining and activities are located.

I really liked the community. The community requires vaccinations for the residents, and this was a concerned for my loved one.
My loved one lived in this community previously. There were a lot of issues with staffing and communication. The facility itself was nice and modern. On one occasion, my loved one was not feeling well. The nurse wouldn't take her vitals and told us that if we want things like that done we need to go to urgent care. They were undergoing a change in management as we were leaving, so hopefully things have improved. They also didn't offer diabetic care, which is something we needed for our loved one.
Read More[name removed] the life guidance counselor made the experience fantastic. We had 2 caretakers that were amazing, but others that were concerning. The thing I was not anticipating was the additional care that we would have to bring in as her Alzheimer's progressed. I had to work with off site agencies to come in and provide extra care even though we were paying so much for her to be here. Towards the end we benefitted from the fact that she qualified for hospice, the care got much better after that and we were thankful for that. We are still dealing with back billing and there has been a lot of turnover so there has been issues with communication. They had an activities calendar, but whenever we went to visit it did not seem like they were doing many of those. I would just tell others to make sure to account for when or if your loved ones Alzheimer's progresses, you will have to bring in extra care and that was something that was not explained to me in the beginning.

Getting her moved in was not an easy task. She was angry, bitter and didn't want to go. Deep down she knew she had to, however, the thought of moving was just too overwhelming for her. She lived in the Springs, we live in Englewood. My husband and I both still work so getting down to the Springs to help her was a struggle. We made the decision to move her closer to us (less than a mile away now!). She is THRIVING! She has people who check in on her daily. Her meds are being monitored and given when it's the proper time and not when she remembers, she is bathed and dressed when we visit. This move may have given us more time with her now that she is being properly cared for.

My loved one was in the memory care unit and they made sure that she was out everyday for some time to get around. I would recommend this community for your loved one, this is a nice clean small community.Nice and compact and easy access to other medical facilities if needed.

I toured this one three times, only because it was definitely a contender. I toured once before Covid, and that tour experience I would rate a 4. And then I had two virtual tours during Covid, which I would rate a 2. With the virtual tour, they had us sit in an outdoor area with an iPad while a person walked through the facility with his phone and showed us around on a video call. I don’t fault him at all for the virtual tour. They were just following protocols and not allowing visitors into the building. On my third tour, I met their whole executive team as well as the head nurse and memory care coordinator. I was impressed with the staff, except for the general manager - nothing I could pinpoint, he just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Their team hinted that maybe my loved one should go into memory care and not assisted living. But I appreciated that at least they were open and honest about that.
Read MoreWe toured this community and it was brand new and very modern. It was located close to a hospital but there was a lot of noise and the outdoor area was just not big enough for our needs.
It has been a great place for my parents. The staff has been accommodating and helpful. It has been the best place we found. The communication has been excellent. They allow virtual visits, or have scheduled appointments with our loved ones. We even are able to take our loved one out into the community during the pandemic.

We chose Atria at the time because of the location. It was close to family. The apartment sizes are nice and very adequate for what we needed. The food must be chef prepared because my parents are very picky and they raved about the food that was served here. My parents came from a farm, so it is was a big adjustment going from that to the city in apartment living, but I would definitely recommend them.

We love this place! It is wonderful and fits our needs perfectly. It is bright, shiny and so are the people! They are exceptional - cheery, positive, happy and helpful. I could mention all of your folks, they are all exceptional! They exhibit all of the qualities that we expected when we moved in to an Assisted Living - super helpful, thoughtful, and wanting to make this a good experience. We have only been here for just under 2 months and are still learning our way around.. but it has been fabulous so far!

My Mom has lived at Atria for a little over a month and it's been a blessing to know that Atria's team of caregivers and staff is going above and beyond what my sisters and I feel we would want for our mother at this time of her life. My mom speaks so highly of the caregivers and she told me today that one of the staff approached my mom and said that they would be gone for 3 days for short vacation, however, wanted my mom to know she was coming back soon. My mom was appreciative and felt that this was above and beyond, but truly like a family member would do and say. WOW ! this gives me peace of mind that my mom is in the RIGHT PLACE !! Thank you Atria for your constant care and courtesy to my sisters and my mom. God bless you always !!

A Place for Mom has scored The Belleview 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
