The head RN and staff are all wonderful. Hope below will tell you how families love Sutton. Sutton started out as assisted living not full care. But the original families that were there were all very happy with the care their aging parents received. So when Sutton couldn't care for the parents a anymore, the families begged the facility to expand to full care. The facility is all 1 floor, so no stairs. Has a very nice patio too. MD, APN OT, PT are all available if needed I believe they have hairdressers come as well. My mother was not eating or drinking when she got there. We thought she was end stage. But the staff got her to be alive again So every day is a blessed day.... Read more

My loved one is currently a resident at Sutton Gardens Assisted Living and the experience at this facility has been terrible. The food is horrible. The floors are sticky and there are flies and bugs. The staff is unresponsive and the nurses mostly seem to know very little. I would not recommend Sutton Gardens Assisted Living to anyone.
The staff is friendly. When I visit with my family, it feels as if I went to visit family friends. They are very caring toward the residents and try to meet their every need. The only negative is that the visiting hours are limited and very short, especially on weekends ( when most people tend to visit).

This facility has incredibly poor answering services. When they do answer the telephone, which is rare, they lie to you. I called asking to speak with my aunt who was a patient there, and they told me that she could not come to the phone because she was sleeping. They told me to call the next day at a certain time when she would be awake. When I called, they told me the truth - that she was no longer there, and they could not give me any information as to where she was taken, or if she was still living. They were rude, unprofessional, and unempathetic and I would not place a loved one in their care.

The atmosphere is good. There are a lot of memory care residents here. The residents play bingo, games, reading the newspaper, coloring, and more for activities for the residents to participate in. There are three meals a day served along with snacks. The community allows us to bring in snacks to share with my loved one and the other residents to enjoy. There are also beverages for the residents to enjoy. There is housekeeping each day. The rooms are clean and neat. There is circulating air for the residents to enjoy.

There is no complaints about the food. We picked this community, because it is very close to my father, and very affordable. The staff is very friendly and help to take care of my loved one. I would recommend to other families.

Our tour experience with Sutton Gardens was horrible. The facility is all one floor and they have the assisted living residents and the memory care residents all mixed together as one. During the tour there were residents coming up to me very confused and it was just sad and depressing. I think they need to separate the two levels of care.
Our tour experience with Sutton Gardens did not go well. The staff were not interacting with the residents and a lot of them were just slumped over in their wheelchairs. I did not feel the connection that I was looking for.
They have a caring staff and a hands-on director. You can tell that the people there really like what they're doing, and I feel like you have to have that to be able to deal with people who have dementia and things of that nature. You can tell that they know the residents. After only a few days, they were already telling me things about my loved one that I already knew but things that they could not have known had they not been paying close attention to him. They keep the residents clean, and they learn how each resident is and then work with them according to their own specific needs and preferences. They just provide very good, very hands-on care, and they will call you and let you know what's going on. The staff are very nice.

Nice facility with caring staff. It is small but it’s intimate just what my mom needed. The other reviews from April and May cannot be true as they do not have tours and still do not. They tried there best and still are. Visitation is held outdoors but it’s safe.

The only problem is I have tried to call my loved one, and it was hard to find someone to pick up the phone after 11 am. It felt like the wild west. The room is nice and a private room for my loved one. The manager is friendly.

This community was reasonably priced, you got what you paid for. It is a smaller place, the dining area had to be turned into the activity area which was fine for what our loved one needed. The rooms are basic, but for our loved one it satisfied all of their needs. They did think that food was pretty bad, but it did seem to be sufficient as far as nutritious and good substance. The portions sizes were fine for all the residents that where there

What an awful place. My friend's dad was here and she suggested we'd tour the facility. I wouldn't put my dog here its that bad. Very small and cramped dining and rec room they are one and the same. Admin sits in a closet which double as an office. The place reeks of urine and the kitchen was disgusting. Should be shut down by the health dept. I ran out of here wondering who would place their loved ones in here.

This place is seriously unable to provide any care for your loved ones. Everyone just sits around over medicated and slumped over. Short staffed and the place always smells. Thankfully we were able to move my dad to a much better place.

I toured this place three times before writing this review. Obviously all positive reviews are from family and friends as this place is awful. It's the cheapest facility around and you def get what you pay for. Very small place with dining room and rec area being the same. Residents are way overmedicated and unable to provide any care for themselves

My mom was here until she passed of the covid virus. This place is very small and they have no activities and receive no personal care whatsoever. Cleanliness is non extistant here. They promise you whatever you want to here but never deliver anything .

My Uncle loved here for about 2 years before we moved him. Very small facility, limited staffing levels and only one room for eating, recreation and anything else they do. Outside area is disgusting , backs up to the railroad so very noisy and dirty. Look elsewhere ,you won't regret it. Owners hire cheap labor and you get what you pay for in this case.
