They are welcoming, and attentive. I chose this place for closeness, and price. I would recommend it!

Our mom moved into Plattdeutsch Home Society a year ago. She lived on her own for 25 years, so we weren’t sure how she would adjust. It didn’t take long before she had new friends and plenty of activities to keep her very busy! The recreational staff has been great! She plays her favorite games and leaned new ones. She does fun and practical arts & crafts, and enjoys the social gatherings with different entertainers. The staff takes her on trips to local fairs or school shows. One of her favorite experiences was sitting on a float at a parade in NYC! Thank you to the recreational staff and all the patient, caring staff at Plattdeutsch. Our mom is happy! We couldn’t ask for more.

My loved one is currently a resident at Plattduetsche Home Society. Our experience has been great so far! The meals are plentiful and fulfilling. The staff is accommodating and friendly. They call with updates and listen to family requests. The nursing staff is so personable and has taken the time to get to know my loved one. This facility is a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for my aging loved one. I would recommend this facility to friends and family!

My mother has been at Plattduetsche for over 8 years and just turned 102. Plattduetsche is a wonderful community with a highly knowledgeable and responsive staff, especially when medical issues arise. There is much to do, Mom especially like the activities of the Ladies Society and art classes. The Physical Therapist on site is just wonderful and engaged. The Social Worker and Nursing Staff are knowledgeable and have a wide network of area contacts. The Physicians who have regular visits are excellent and caring. Overall, a wonderful place.

Plattduesch Home Society is wonderful. The staff is wonderful from admin to nurses and kitchen staff. They all go out of their way to help the residents and their families. Very thankful my mom is a resident.

My loved one is a resident at this facility, we visited him this past week. The facility and staff are outstanding. I would say that Plattdeutsche is superior. We are pleased with our loved one's placement here! We are very happy!

It is a fantastic, and fabulous adult home. It does feel like an assited living community.The staff can identify, the reseidents by first name. It's very homey atmosphere. The architecture of the building is the same from 1922, so it has a lot architectural features. It is on a ground of several acres, so there is a lot of outdoor space. They also have a full kitchen, in which they just fully remodeled.

This is an ideal place for the elderly. It is extremely well maintained. The nursing staff is top notch and friendly. They are always concerned about the well fare and comfort of the residents. There are many social activities lead by a very competent team. Chef [name removed] always supervises the menus. Everthing is fresh, tasty and prepared with care. Have eaten there many times and was never disappointed.

The home has been gradually building up a full program of socisl activities which has enabled residents to enjoy each other's company more. Friendships can grow and make the community a happier place. A suggestion would be to allow residents to have parakeets or other birds to offer residents some company in their apartments.

My grandmother is currently living in the Plattduetsche Home . There is plenty activity to keep her busy. She loves the hair salon and the exercise classes. The nurses and staff all know her well, and they take such good care of her. The facility is immaculately clean as well. My grandparents lived at the Renken independent housing at first. After my grandfather passed , my grandmother needed more care. So she moved over to the assisted living portion of the Plattduetsche Home.

Our mother had been a resident at 2 other local senior care facilities since our father passed away. While each of those facilities provided required care, our mother did not seem happy. We learned of Plattduetsch through a friend and were able to move her in about 2 years ago. She has not been this happy in many years. The facility is spotlessly clean and she raves about the food. The residents are kind and friendly too. [name removed] and his team have done a terrific job of creating and maintaining a wonderful environment for seniors!

I can say only good things about the Plattduetsche Home community as my family and friends have been either involved as residents or volunteers for over half a century. The dedication of all the people that work here is of caring and love for the resident in all they do. From the Administration, Nursing, Case management, Recreation , and Dietary & Housekeeping staff they go above and beyond for each resident in all they do, treating them as if they were a beloved family member. Go on a tour and see for yourself all they have to offer.

It’s never easy to move a loved one out of their home and into any type of facility. They need eyes on them 24/7 and consistency in their daily routines. The Plattdeutsch is unlike any other place my mother and departed father have been. There have been many. It’s all about the resident and whatever special need will help them feel content in their home away from home. Clean, organized, home cooked meals, and staff that are beyond caring, kind and treat the residents like their own family. Everyday we talk about the meals. Better than I make at home. Mom never wants to miss a meal there. She lost 25 pounds at her previous facility. She gained it back pretty quickly and enjoys eating again. Breakfast is almost anything you want. Lunch and dinner homemade soup every meal, nice variety and they listen to the residents preferences. Always desert or birthday cake ?? f it’s a residents birthday. Even an occasional glass of wine or beer. Coffee time snack at 3:00. A++++

Every aspect of Plattduetsche Home Society has surpassed my wildest expectations. The staff ACTUALLY TRULY CARE!! Through the peak virus, management & staff stayed calm, levelheaded, & reasonable to ensure we kept in touch, and/or saw our loved ones. They didn't panic, and their compassion for their residences family was as much of a priority as they had for the resident. NEVER have I walked into the Home Society and smelled a foul odor. The place is spotless & the outside grounds are groomed like a fine golf course. I've never witnessed a staff member without a smile, or without patience. They always welcom me & offer me to sit with my mom during meal if I happen to be there at that time. It seems as if there is always some sort of party going on there, with an array of games, musical talent, a coffee break with & an occasional adult beverage! The food is w/o a doubt, restaurant quality. I can go on and on. Every Plattduetsche employee give nothing less than 100%! I truly love them!

This is the most wonderful assisted living home you could ever imagine. The staff is professional and kind and they truly care so much for each and every resident in their care. The residents here are happy and they truly feel they are in their own home by receiving the quality care that they need while still retaining their independence. The entire staff knows and treats each resident like family here and they truly go far beyond any expectation you would have of a home for your loved one! We thank you Plattdeutsch for the quality care you give our mother each and every day!

I can't say enough good things about The Plattduesche Home Society. From the moment my mom became a resident my brother and I felt we made the right decision for her care. The care the entire team provides is first rate. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are amazing and take such good care of mom and always go above and beyond to help in any way they can. I can't thank all of them enough.

This is a very nice place for your loved one. My loved one settled in really fast to this community. They have activities in this community like crochet, a dance for the seniors, a birthday party for all of the birthdays in that month. They also have a quarter game that they play and bingo. I just feel like with the age of my loved one that her brain could be stimulated more and do more word games and things.

When we first started looking for places, Plattduetsche Home Society seemed to fit what we were looking for and hey had availability right when we needed it. The one auditee would be that it was not terribly obvious that this was an option. You just don't know where to turn and this essentially fell into our lap and became a miracle. The staff have been excellent with communication. Every area has been outstanding and I would highly recommend them, they have exceeded all of our expectations.

This is the best place ever for you or your loved one. The care here at this community is unbelievable. i just told someone yesterday that this community is like a resort and a home away from home in your back yard. It seems like a piece of heaven in your backyard. I did not even know that a place like this existed. I am very close to my loved one and I did not just want to put her anywhere. My loved one moved in a few months ago and I come in at all kinds of different times and always call and reach out and not one time did I ever get any harsh response or reaction. This is really a community and everyone likes and cares for each other. They are all like angels it is a beautiful place. I feel good when I go here.
