I enjoyed the tour of the facility. I was pleased with the staff. The place looked clean and tidy. As I’m just beginning the search for a place for my mom., this was a good start. I look forward to potentially placing her here and having her close to me.

July 26, 2023Jamal - Thank you for the five star review. Serving your mother is an honor. We are grateful for the opportunity to create welcoming environment for her.
My Mom (90 years old) moved in almost 2 years ago and it was the right call for us. This facility is warm and has a cozy feel to it as soon as you walk in. It is not one of the larger facilities that are being built now, however, that is what our family likes about it, more intimate. The staff is very open to conversations regarding my mom's care needs which is comforting since her needs have changed over the last 2 years. She has had many falls and knowing that she can push her safety button around her neck and get help has given me peace of mind which I did not have when she lived alone in her home. Fortunately, I can visit quite often at different times of day and it is always clean and personnel are always available if we need anything. Honestly, my mom can get a little grumpy with the staff at times because she is frustrated she can't do what she used to be able to do on her own, but they understand their resident's feelings and don't take it personally which is appreciated.

A hard decision was made to move my mom to assisted living when she needed someone with her day and night. We chose The Oaks at Stockbridge for her care and we are glad we did. She receives excellent care and the care is given in kindness. My mom has gained weight, her overall health has improved and she is safe. We can’t say enough good things about all of the staff from the director, managers, caregivers, greeters, the on-site nurse, the chef and the maintenance director. These people have made The Oaks at Stockbridge an excellent choice.

March 9, 2023Richars - Thank you for the five star review. We are thankful you chose us to care for your mother.
We moved our 95 year old mother into The Oaks of Stockbridge over a year ago and it has been such a blessing. We feel she has a staff that cares about her and helps with whatever she needs. It gives me and my siblings such peace of mine to know she is happy and enjoys her daily life of friendships, social activities and parties. She loves the trips on the bus to the ice cream shops, restaurants and just for rides. The facility is clean and very well organized. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of.

February 22, 2023Jeanne - Thank you for the five star review. We are grateful for the opportunity to care for your mother.
My father was in the memory care area, they do an excellent job with meal time, making sure everyone is there and eating out if they need help they would feed them. The community nurse Helga is great, she always kept me informed if anything with my dad would change. The only improvement might be to have an additional person in the memory care area, it is small but difficult for 2 to manage.

February 9, 2023Budd - Thank you for the kind words and five star review. We are grateful to serve your mother.
We moved a very dear friend into Oaks at Stockbridge in [date removed]. It was a very hard move for her. She had lived by herself in her home with steps for many many years. She had to go into the hospital the end of August and was told by the doctor that he could not allow her to go home by herself. We called Oaks to see if I could come and tour the community. We have been so happy with the care she receives here. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I thank God every day for Oaks at Stockbridge and would recommend anyone that is looking for this type of community, this place could be your loved ones new home.

February 9, 2023Tammie - Thank you for the five star review. We are grateful you chose our community as a new home for your friend.
The care that my wife receives here is excellent. The facility is always clean and the staff addresses any and all of my concerns expeditiously and professionally. The staff members at all levels are excellent. They epitomize the term “caregivers”. My two items of importance, my wife’s happiness and safety are both being accomplished beyond my initial expectations. I highly recommend the Oaks at Stockbridge for those considering memory care for a loved one in the Stockbridge area.

The staff members at the Oaks are just phenomenal and really have taken such great care of our loved one. They have excellent caregivers there and they are always so friendly to us when we come to visit. We have had lunch there and the meals are delicious. They have plenty of different activities going on for the residents, there is bingo, day trips and live musical entertainment which is something our loved one really enjoys.

My parents moved in 2019, and I admit that they were originally reluctant participants, but after only 3 months Mom & Dad began to really feel like this was there home. And it was because the staff there, being so kind, courteous and respectful of them. In the 3 years my parents have been there, we have no big issues with their care, and of the few tiny ones, I have to say that resolutions were found quickly and without drama. We recently lost my 93 year old Dad after a short illness, and the community, staff and residents, have rallied around Mom and the rest of us. They made it easy for us to genuinely feel their sincere condolences and care. Dad was happy there. Mom is happy there still. With the exception of losing Dad, this has been a near perfect journey. We could not be more happy, and we send a huge THANK YOU to all of Mom's caregivers at the Oaks at Stockbridge!!!

The staff have been excellent, the administrator there has been very helpful with us and any needs. I would highly recommend this community. So far we have been very happy with everything here at this community. They have activities like going out to supper, they had an Easter service that they invited the family to with a resident choir that sang. They also have bingo and other games to keep the residents busy and active in the community. Everyone seems to be very happy here.

February 21, 2022Roger - Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We appreciate the kind words and wish you the very best in your search for care for your loved one.
In my opinion, nobody is a 5. They've just had a turnover. And there are some good things and some bad, as with any place. The hallways are always clean, and it does not smell like urine like other places I've walked into. My loved ones have had some bugs, but they also drop crumbs on the floor, so that doesn't really count. The bathrooms have all been pretty clean. As far as care, we have to remind them of things sometimes. And laundry wasn't getting done at one point. They've also had mix-ups where Mom got somebody else's clothes. But after we addressed it with them, they've been getting laundry done on a regular basis. Our expectation for incontinence is that they would wash the sheets, even if it's not regular laundry day. So we've had to get onto them about that. My mom keeps telling me they're understaffed. But she loves the people who work there. One thing that really aggravates me, and I think it's true of all of these assisted livings, is the medication has to be routed through their pharmacy and pre-packaged. And it costs WAY too much to do what they're doing. It costs me hundreds per month, vs. less than $100 at the regular pharmacy. I think it's a monopoly and a rip-off. I don't think they're giving meds at the proper times either, or with proper medical checks beforehand, because they don't have the proper personnel. I would still recommend somebody else put their family member there, but you can't just totally turn it over to them. You still have to be in constant contact and communication. Again, that would be at any place. And they do respond to you better than a different place we had Mom. If you reach out to them, they will respond. Right now the residents are locked up in Covid quarantine, and they don't have enough staff to help with mundane little tasks like TVs and computers not working. That's especially problematic since the families aren't allowed in to come and help. My parents do not like the food. Some of the vegetables are not to their taste, things like asparagus and brussels sprouts. They say their table mates complain about the food as well. The food isn't bad. They just serve things that age group doesn't normally eat. Also there is supposed to be lots of alternate options, but they don't necessarily have those available.

September 28, 2021Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We appreciate all of the feedback. I am with the new management company and we will work hard to address your concerns and earn that 5 star review!
Until this past year, my 95 year old mother had been living alone in her home of 58 years. After a mini stroke left her unable to drive, and declining health due to congestive heart failure made her house too much we made a move closer to me this past July. After a few months in another facility, we made the move to ELSL, and it has been the best decision we could have made. The director and staff are caring, competent, and friendly. They can call residents by name, and they are always willing to assist in any what they can. I can now rest assured that my mother is receiving excellent care, and that the staff is able to give me helpful feedback on my mother’s status. I highly recommend Eagles Landing Senior Living for your loved ones in need of care.

June 25, 2021Thank you so much for your nice recommendation Mary. We're glad to hear that Eagles Landing was there for your family when your mom needed to move to a safer environment. We appreciate your kind words about our entire team and the competent, friendly, loving care they provide your mother. Hearing that moving her to Eagles Landing has given you peace of mind is one of the nicest compliments we could receive!
This place is a joke. No supervision on shifts. Bare minimum of staff. 8.00 hr employees. Critical falls constantly. Mgr was fired from last facility due to gross incompantance. Go on a regular basis and see for yourself. You want lto write a check for 5600 for a bed and don't care about your mom or dad go for it.
