The community is an older building; however, they do a good job at keeping it clean. The bathrooms smell nice. My loved one's room was clean. I would highly recommend Morada Cy-Fair to others for their loved ones. The staff truly cared for my loved one. They always made sure that my loved one had a meal to eat, if an appointment ran later than when dinner was served. The staff were very respectful of the family and my loved one. I witnessed the staff being patient with the residents asking the same question over and over again.... Read more

My friend has enjoyed their time at Morada Cy-Fair. The staff are good at making sure the residents get involved with the activities offered. They try to please the residents and keep them comfortable. Everyone is friendly here! This is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones and friends.

We chose Morada Cy-Fair over others we looked at because the facility was overall less expensive, and my loved one was able to get her own private room in memory care. Although it is less expensive than others, it is still very pricey, $[removed] a month. I would recommend this facility to other families looking.

The staff is really really good. They are very much in tune with everything going on with my mother. Very Caring, attentive and fantastic communication. Very much appreciated, compared to the prior facility in which she was living.

I thought Morada Cy-Fair was nice. It was more assisted living, and we were looking for independent living. But they were really responsive and followed up with me.
Our family had an in person tour and the sales person was not very forth coming, they did not give us a lot of information. However, the staff like the activities director were super friendly.
Our mother is enjoying all the meals and dining service and is really enjoying the aerobics classes and different exercise classes they have going on.

This community served its purpose for us for the three years our loved one was here. However, we just had to make a change for our loved one.
We chose Morada Cy-Fair because we needed a place quite quickly and they were the most available and got the ball rolling right away. The room sizes are very nice. I do wish we did not have to make an appointment to go see her. Because of covid, only 2 people are able to go and visit. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

Morada Cy-Fair is a very clean community, the residents and staff members are all very nice. Our loved one seems to be eating plenty on the meals so no complaints there. Our loved one does not always participate in the activities but the do offer them. The value for cost is fair compared to other communities in the area but still on the higher side.

I was able to have an in person tour, and the marketing team was very nice and helpful. The community is very nice, but the location is about 45 minutes away and we wanted something closer in case of emergencies.
Make sure you write down all of your questions and understand the rules of the community. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. the food is good and they have activities going on for the residence. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Very nice place for my mom. She seems to be happy there. With late stages of Alzheimer's, it's important that she is comfortable and not in pain, not that here clothes are in order or if her bed isn't maid. Housekeeping could do a little better as there are dust bunnies under her bed, but all in all, a very good place for what I pay.

my Mom entered Brookdale CyFair as a memory care with two person assist to move in and out of her wheel chair. Now it is managed by a company called Atria whose guidelines say two person assists are not qualified for assisted living. Now I have to find her another place. It's not a good idea to move memory care patients. It's very difficult to adjust a new place. We moved to this facility in [date removed] planning to keep Mom there till the end. Such an unnecessary upset for a poor 90 year old invalid with dementia.

This is where my Dad is currently at. They just recently went from Brookdale to Atria. In recent months, the food has gone downhill and the service is not as friendly as before. They just fired two of the directors so one can hope that improvements are on the way.

I am pretty dissatisfied with everything right now. I have faced some issues concerning with the staff and the care that they’re providing with my loved one. Recently when I came to visit my loved one was facing issues hygiene wise. She was not being properly cleaned and she was unfortunately soiling herself. Now because of this it resulted with a particular nurse explaining to me that she needs “extra care” that would cost an extra $500 on month. To begin with, what is “extra care”? What is that supposed to entitle? Does my love on only have “basic care”? The nurse just kept explaining vaguely that she just needs extra care. Secondly, not only with this nurse, but with the other nurses that looks over my loved one, no one cared to call me to inform me about my loved one’s condition. I had to find out during a visit. Now it is a possibility that she’s just old or it’s maybe it’s the food, however no one bothered to investigate and to inform me of what is happening. I do not appreciate this sort of lack of communication. I would voice my complaints to that particular nurse and every time I need to follow up with her she seems to always not be available. She doesn’t seem to even make the time to sit with me to explain the situation. She would only be so pushy for me to sign the papers to approve the “extra care” so they can charge me more money. Also, when I would try to talk to her she would always be on the defensive. Another thing is getting my loved one to certain activities on site. First of all you don’t know where anything is. If you were to ask someone where the exercise class is happening they would say in this certain wing. Well where is it? How am I supposed to know where that is? They are supposed to have religious events as well such as communion and rosary service but they don’t assist my loved one to find the places to when they are happening. It’s very frustrating at the moment to be put in this situation and for them not getting back to me in a timely manner. My loved one needs caring nurses; the staff here is not so “come forth” with any kind of information.

I have found Brookdale Cy Fair to be a God-sent Community for my loved one who has Alzheimer's. The entire staff is caring and attentive not only to my loved one but also in helping me to adjust during this difficult transition. It is a very clean Community which I very much appreciate and I feel welcome each time my family and I make our frequent visits. I would highly recommend Brookdale Cy Fair!

My mom is doing so well at Brookdale Cy-Fair. We are so pleased that she is happy. It was a blessing that we moved her in when we did. Brookdale didn't get flooded during the storm but her home did. She really likes living there. She told me yesterday she had to get off the phone from me to go and play Bingo with her friends. They had a birthday party with a fellow playing piano yesterday and they all had a lot of fun. The staff is easy to talk to about any questions or concerns we have. She loves their breakfast, it's her favorite. She is eating better now than she was before. It is a really clean facility and it smells good. The staff is so friendly and make us feel so comfortable and welcome when we come to visit. She is a very alert 96 and she needed this community because she likes all of the socialization. She feels like the residents are a part of her family now. I would definitely recommend this community to friends and family.

A Place for Mom has scored Morada Cy-Fair 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
