I can’t even begin to express my deepest gratitude for all the wonderful people at Legacy. The second you walk in the door you will feel like family. The vibe there is warm and welcoming and very happy. I toured many places before picking a spot for our mom to be. Nothing how the candle to how wonderful legacy is!!! We wanted so badly to bring her home, but it was out of our scope of care and budget. Having our mom at legacy was like having her at home. They took incredible care of her and loved her, just as we would if we had her at home, actually, I think they took better care of her than we could have. If you are thinking of a place for your loved one, look no further. Even the residents there are warm and welcoming and really love being there. Thank you legacy of Castle Pines for taking such good care of our mom. Much gratitude, love and respect for all of you.

Finally after 3 other tours at Senior Living I'm at a place that delivers! That is obvious by the fact that there is a waiting list to get in!

Our 95 year old mother moved to Legacy Village from her home in Texas. It was a big adjustment for her. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with the staff and the accommodations here. Everyone has been very helpful, informative, welcoming, and friendly during this transition.

We moved our mom from another Retirement Village at the end of November. After the nurse assessment, we gave mom a try at Assisted Living hoping a smaller environment would be beneficial. We knew this could be short term, and after a week we needed to move her to Memory Care. The facility is beautiful, the staff is so kind, caring, and wonderful. They feel like extended family! We fully anticipated a difficult move, but even moving twice in a short time Mom has adjusted beautifully.

I've lived here a year and eight months. The caregivers are wonderful. The food is yummy! yummy! I love the activities - especially Bible study. If I have a problem, I go to the front desk. They are kind, caring, and loving.

I have lived here since June 2020. The staff has been very kind and caring. There has been some dining staff turnover. The team is trying to learn, and training for them is important and appreciated. Most of team are wonderful.

Everyone has been extremely welcoming to me! I'm new to the community. The wait staff could use some additional training, but they are very sweet and willing to help. Very polite. Everyone is very friendly. I love my apartment. The view is incredible.

I think people who work here try so hard. I've been here over four years. I really like it here. The concierge are fantastic. The team works very hard to help. For me it's been a good experience. We could use more transportation options.

The staff is great. There is a lot of turnover in the kitchen. However, the rest of the team jumps in to help. Really good people with dining/wait staff through the day. I can't think of any of the wait staff that doesn't try hard. They are wonderful.

It's an excellent facility but they are often short staffed. I chose this community because of the location, quality of the facility, and it's a really nice place. They don't always have enough food servers, so sometimes the food does not always arrive at table warm, so they are short staffed in the kitchen area.

Response from Legacy Village of Castle Pines
September 22, 2022Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your valuable input, which is so important to us. We invite you to come in and visit with our Executive Director with any questions you may have. Thank you very much! The Team at Legacy Village of Castle Pines
I don't feel like my mom has been getting the care she needs. Right now they are understaffed, although the staff they do have are great and do their best. It's just hard with Covid and staffing issues, which I know are happening everywhere. But basically my mom was getting better care where she was previously in independent living with some extra assistance coming in. Here, they don't have as many rides to doctor appointments (transportation is limited to two days a week, and it's always booked). They don't have as many nurses to take care of bandaging. They don't have the PT staff she needs for her recovery. She has to bring in her own PT and massage, as well as Uber for appointments. And then she's paying for those things on top of what she pays for assisted living at Legacy Village. She doesn't like the food as well. She wishes she had never moved.

March 18, 2022Dear Anonymous If you feel comfortable, please reach out to me so that we can talk more together. I am committed to doing all we can to ensure that you and your mother are pleased with the services and care we provide. Rachel Davenport, Executive Director
Our family had an in person tour and they did like it but they just did not feel like it was the place for them. It had a long waiting list, but the price they weren't offering anything special.
Response from Legacy Village of Castle Pines
December 29, 2021Thank you for your review. Finding a senior living community that meets your loved ones needs is so important. It was our pleasure to have you visit Legacy Village. We sincerely hope that you have found peace of mind and that all is well for you and your loved one.
This community was a really nice place. The location was just to far for us and we needed family to be able to get to our loved one easier. The other community we went with just allowed for easier access to our loved one.
Response from Legacy Village of Castle Pines
October 21, 2021Thank you for your kind 5-star review. We agree that finding a senior living community close to family and friends makes visiting easier. Our very best to you and your family. Thank you for visiting Legacy Village of Castle Pines and your generous review.
So far we've been very pleased. The staff has been warm and welcoming. Especially interactions with the front desk have been positive. They seem to be very accommodating through difficult times - AKA the pandemic.
Response from Legacy Village of Castle Pines
December 29, 2021Thank you for taking a moment to let us know how we are doing. We appreciate your generous 5-star review.
For me, living in Legacy is about as homey as can be in a group. I have found the staff and other residents friendly and helpful. Because of covid the past nine months have been difficult but the directer and staff have done a very good job keeping residents and families safe and informed. The only negative, in my estimation, is the sameness, quality and inconsistant preperation of meals. Meals have improved under the current chef but still have a ways to go to be what we are paying for.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
