Hollywood Healthy Living, located in Sun Valley's most desired neighborhood (Shadow Hills), is a certified residential care home for the elderly with the objective of providing exceptional care to seniors at a reasonable price. We were referred here before Dad moved into Silvergate Fallbrook [removed]. They treat residents like family and always treat the elderly with the decency and respect they deserve.

Mom moved in to Hollywood Healthy Living a little over 9 months ago when her health was failing. She has received the very best, most respectful support and care through her Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia. They are lovingly vigilant and attentive to her and in making sure she is happy and healthy. All the staff is very nice and caring and professional as well. The home is always clean and smells like yummy, healthy, home cooked, healthy food when we come to visit. My sister and I love having her there and it truly feels like she has a home.

Our Dad is very well taken care of and his caregivers are loving and caring and very supportive of him. He is always happy. His caregivers spend quality time, watching television, house activities and celebrating special occasions.

When our family decided it was time for our dad to move into assisted living, a friend recommended we call A Place For Mom. I went online and filled out a questionnaire asking basic questions as to the location, needs, urgency to move and someone called me within minutes. We were given the names and addresses of 5 potential places to move our dad. The first board & care we visited was Hollywood Healthy Living in the San Fernando Valley. We met with the owner and she showed us the home, introduced us to staff and residents and answered all of our questions. We left and visited the other 4 homes but kept finding reasons they were not a good fit for our dad. We returned to HHL and moved him in within a few weeks. He has now been there almost 2 years. The owners and staff treat him like family. He is very happy there and has never asked us to move him or take him home. That is very reassuring to us all. I would highly recommend HHL !

I had my mom in some other facilities and she was very unhappy and had some falls. She had never fallen at [name removed] facility and her team is very caring and they listen. I am so fortunate to have found this home. It is more of a home than a facility.

We really like it here and so does my dad . They treat him like he is family and we do not have to worry about him anymore. He really likes the food, the staff members, and the other residents. We go once a week to check on him and he is doing really well. One thing I really like about the owner is that she said this is your dads home, so we were lucky enough to get my dad his own room and we were able to make it his own so he is as comfortable as he can be. He is one of the only ones able to get up and walk around and they keep a really good eye on him. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

This facility is wonderful. Great attentiveness to the clients. Staff friendly. Excellent cleanliness. Food good and healthy. Would recommend this facility for a friend or loved one.

My friend is a fairly new resident here. She has made an amazing adjustment! The administrator and caregivers are caring, kind and friendly. They have made her transition as comfortable as we had hoped for.

My husband is happy and content here. He is treated very well. They are very kind to everyone also very generous to visitors of their guests. The house is kept very clean. I could not ask for better care for my husband. My children are all happy with the care my husband receives here!
