Brookdale Spring Shadows

Most of the staff was very friendly quality of care he did not do anything for my husband no showers no bed baths supposedly activities from what I can tell from the calendar it's okay value for cost not worthy of the cost. I was told for the price of [fee removed] a month he would get two showers a week housekeeping would be there two days a week the care they give him they should have known when he was getting worse whether he got a shower or he was baked in the bed his feet started turning black and nobody saw it supposedly I went up there and saw this myself I was also told that they would take care of his medicines if I brought my medicine up there straight from the pharmacy I still had to buy pill boxes and set them out on his table so that he could take him himself all he had to do was take it to him with either breakfast or dinner with breakfast and dinner and he could take them himself I could have done that myself at home the only reason why I put him in the home other than the fact that I had to have surgery was the fact that I could not lift him and it was hurting my back so bad I had to take pain pills after I cleaned him up and like I said for the cost very very very very disappointed in the service

I’ve had the pleasure visiting this community a few times. It’s always extremely clean, very quiet, and very peaceful. The people that work here are second to none. You can really tell that they care about their residence and the resident well-being. I highly recommend this community.

Always such a welcoming place, we refer our clients here all the time when they are looking for somewhere safe and comfortable for their loved ones to stay!

Brookdale Spring Shadows is an amazing community. During our tour I felt very welcomed by all staff and enjoyed our visit. The staff is very caring and attentive, especially the sales manager, Grace, and executive director Nina!

I enjoy coming to Brookdale Spring Shadows. My mom has been a resident here for a while and I enjoy coming to the community. The community is clean and the staff treats the residents very well. The food is tasteful.

We toured Brookdale Spring Shadows when searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The facility was very clean. They told me that they could provide the level of care that my loved one needed.

Our first impression with Brookdale Springs was great - the community itself is lovely, is it very clean and no fowl smells at all. We really like how the staff members are always aware of where the residents are. When you look at the residents they are all very relaxed and content, which goes a long way. They do not look tense, or worried at all. Based on our experience so far with Brookdale Springs, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Each person we met was friendly and welcoming. I was able to tour the facilities easily, all my questions were answered fully and with a smile. As I have toured different places for my mother-in-law, I have found many discouraging things. NOTHING at Brookdale Spring Shadows was a disappointment. It is refreshing to come into a place where you are welcomed.

Brookdale Spring Shadows has brought my dad back to life! He was starting to sit around the house and do nothing but at Brookdale Spring Shadows he laughs, tells jokes, meets daily for fun activities and enjoys off property trips.

I was impressed by the caring attitude and patience of the staff. They not only cared about their residents but the residents' families as well. The staff met each resident where they were in their journey with dementia. There were three meals a day plus snacks. My loved one was eating foods that they had refused to eat for most of their life! Everyone ate together in the dining room. When my brother and his wife visited, they ate with our loved one on the patio. My sister and I usually visited once a week. We talked with our loved one's care giver who was wonderful and [name removed], the unit supervisor. They were available for phone calls and called me when needed

We picked this community because, we liked the overall feel of the community. It did not have a cold industrial feel and the staff was friendly. It was kept very clean.

There have been several incidents where injuries occurred without explanation as to how or what happened. Sometimes personal hygiene and cleanliness of wheelchairs and surroundings seem neglected. The staff is always caring but it seems like weekends are when the least attention is given to residents.

My dad is living his best life since moving into Brookdale Spring Shadows. He used to sit at home all alone and watch TV. Now he has 3 hot meals a day and sits at a cozy diner table to talk and laugh with friends and the sweet staff. The staff there is very kind and loving. They do not just take care of the resident's physical needs. They also care about them like family and treat them with kindness and respect. The staff makes an extra effort to connect to the residents and show genuine interest in their lives and their families. There are opportunities to leave and go out in the community to fun trips and eat out at restaurants or see movies. This is a great place for your family member to be taken care of with very high standards.

My mother started in Assisted living for 4 years and for the past year in memory care. My sister and I care for her and we have been very happy with the care givers. They are very caring and keep us informed of any changes in mother’s care. They truly care about the residents. We would recommend this facility.

When I moved my mother to Brookdale she had been in and out of the hospital simply because she could no longer take care of herself. She was not eating properly or taking her medication correctly. At Brookdale she thrived. They take great care of her and she enjoys being part of the community. During the pandemic, I was scared I would lose her but they enacted strict protocols and kept their community safe. I highly recommend Brookdale Spring Shadows.

We liked that the meals are a daily selection and you can go down and pick it up. They also have an alternate menu if you do not like what is on the main menu. The grounds are beautiful. My loved one is doing much better since they moved her over to the memory care side of the facility. She is more engaged and is always busy with the amount of activities that they have provided. They seem to be on top of everything. I would recommend Brookdale Spring Shadows to others.
