Brookdale Meridian Englewood

Staff is wonderfully friendly and hard working. Housekeeping is good. Communication requires diligence on part of resident, as emails are not answered in timely manner. They offer good activities and some outings into the community. Move in process was excellent. The food is most often good and occasionally not so good. The entire building needs an upgrade as far as modernization to the furniture, wall colors, carpets, etc. But the friendly staff can’t be beat.

We chose Brookdale Meridian because of the location and because it offers all of the services, including assisted living, memory care, and nursing care. One of the main reasons we chose Brookdale Meridian is because they are very dog friendly! The staff is very friendly and the location is great for our needs. The food is adequate. Activities are pretty frequent with a lot of music. The first few weeks were rough because of poor communication and very little explanation about services like laundry service, dog feeding, and medical services. One weekend when my mom needed medical care, the on-call service did not respond and my sister had to sit all day with my mom in the hospital. The advocate for the medical service has assured us that it won't happen again. She was very responsive and efficient. The social aspect of the community is very good and my mom seems to be happy, for the most part.

We picked this community because of the availability, cost and location. I would recommedn to others.

What our family likes the most about Brookdale Meridian Englewood community, is that it is very friendly and it also feels very safe - there are lots of fun different activities planned and just an overall positive atmosphere.

Our loved one likes the different activities they have going on as well as the people there. She would like to see an improvement however with the food. They have just hired a new chef so things may be changing. Other than that, she is very happy. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Brookdale Meridian Englewood to other families.

It was a great tour. It was very helpful to find out about all the different skill levels available. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour.

The community is lovely, clean, happy, and everyone we met along the way seemed genuinely happy to be here. So many great spaces for residents and outsiders to enjoy (skyroom!).

Brookdale Englewood has everything you or your loved one needs. From beautiful Mountain Views throughout the entire community, friendly staff and care, 17 floor plans to choose from, and the ability to transition levels of care easily- I can't recommend this community enough.

This location is beautiful! The different levels of care here is very rare to find. It's amazing how much there is to offer here.

I thought Brookdale Meridian Englewood had a beautiful library. It’s a high rise though, which personally didn’t appeal to me. And the building was older in appearance. But the people seemed to be wonderful.

the location is great! The food was great! I'm impressed with the rich variety of activities for the residents. I want to know more about the 8 levels of care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

There have been some communication issues and things weren't taken care of that we thought would be in the beginning. It seemed like the best situation for my parents but the transition period has been difficult on them Overall it has been a positive experience.

I would not recommend this community to anyone.

Very large facility. Felt too big and somewhat impersonal. No outdoor space for the MC residents to go to.

We chose this community because of the big bay windows, it brings so much natural sunlight. We love the square kitchen in our apartment, it has very large storage. The hallways, doors going into the rooms and bathrooms are large enough for wheelchairs, so the community is very wheelchair accessible. We have made a lot of friends here, they have a lot of activities and we love the TV room. The lady who picks out the movies is amazing she does such a great job. The fish they cook here is amazing, its incredible. However we do think the cooperation is dragging their feet a little bit when it comes to updating some parts of the community and service. So far I am having a positive experience with Brookdale Meridian.

Good vibe from residents and nice staff. good surroundings. Unit is a little bigger than what we need. Can possibly have a balcony.

I have met some very nice people but I was specific when I was looking that I wanted there to be a Jewish presence and sadly that is not the case here. I have been here about 6 months, there is not much to do so I am looking forward to other things starting to open up. I would not recommend if you are Jewish. During Christmas, the whole facility was decked out with Christmas decorations and there was nothing put out for Hanukkah. They put a news letter out with all of the new residents for the past year and my name was not on there.
