Brookdale Club Hill

My mom is a resident at Brookdale Club Hill. She really likes her apartment. I would recommend them to others.

My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Club Hill. The facility is spacious and much to do. The staff is great, however there are some staff shortages. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Club Hill to others.

I visited Brookdale first and it's services sounded so good I chose it without visiting others. I would recommend to others.Send us more residents.

I went to visit and meet the staff and this community is so beautiful with gorgeous aged trees, ponds, a beautiful club house and an annex building where they have arts and crafts along with a pretty amazing game room. The staff was extremely kind and helpful on questions I had in regards to the community. I was very pleased to see their residents out and about being active, playing games, chatting together in different areas, etc. I would suggest this place to anyone who might be looking for Independent or Assisted Living options.

We toured Brookdale Club Hill during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. I didn't like it. The facility is very expensive and not very nice. They had an extra monthly charge to give my loved one her medication. There was also going to be an upcharge to make sure she made it to meals.

The activities director is more than amazing!!! He and [name removed] as well as the rest of the staff truly love their residents and would do anything for them. They have all kinds of activities. They have activities there as well as outings such as play, musicals, going out to eat. Some of the residents are even doing a cruise in August. I can't say enough good things about [name removed] , the activities director. He goes all out for the residents and they all adore him.

Brookdale Club Hill is a great place for your loved ones. My parents are very happy and have made new friends. Staff is great and works hard to help you with what you need.

I currently live at Brookdale Club Hill. Housekeeping just left my unit, they did an excellent job. Everyone has a smile and friendly greeting for you here at Brookdale Club Hill. The meals are tasty, but a little high in carbohydrates. The lawn is clean, neat, and freshly mowed. I would recommend this facility to others at this time.

It got off to a rough start but everything is working out just fine. The food is served like a restaurant style so the quality of the food is excellent!! We would recommend Brookdale Club Hill to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

My loved one is a resident here and she's much more content than she was at her last facility. It's a huge, beautiful campus with a wonderful outdoor area. There's even a pond, bridge, ducks to enjoy on the outdoor grounds. There are several buildings at this facility. The buildings include a large, beautiful dining room, a smaller dining room, mail room, craft room, a large beautiful library that just looks so inviting, a beauty/nail salon, an activities room, and a craft room. I absolutely love the Activities Director, she's so personable and is as awesome as she could be. If activities are your thing, there are many and a good variety of them here. I'd say this facility could be the social flower's dream as far as activities go. They have a list of them for each month, including Church services and a crafting room. They also do several outings to places like the casino, movies, arboretum, and dining. They frequently bring outside entertainment in, also. The Activities Director is great about trying to encourage participation of the residents. They also have an Ambassador, which I like. In my loved one's building there's a nursing station that is staffed 24 hours a day, someone is present around the clock. During the day there are 2 nurses in her building and in the evening there's a Med Tech or two. My loved one's room is the smallest available, but it's adequately spacious. She has a full size bathroom with a shower and also a mini-fridge and sink in her room. Housekeeping is once a week and I've heard no complaints from my loved one- which says a lot. They do laundry and bed linen changes once a week, as well. My loved one does complain about the food. At this facility, you can either eat in the dining room or pick meals up to go. It seems like most residents do pick up, I don't see many in the dining room. However, my loved one seems to be missing items often when she picks up her meals. Also, the quality varies, but quantity always seems large. I would probably recommend this facility to family and friends. The cost is higher and we're dealing with a few financial surprises/charges that we didn't expect and weren't told about. However, my loved one is more content here than she was at her previous facility.

My loved one likes the food. We picked this community, because I used A Place for Mom, and it was the next closet place to me. They need to do better with explaining things. I am a bit frustated with the billing process. Most of the people are nice, and cooperative. Most of the aides have been super nice.

Low ceilings, dark hallways, and my loved one's building was separate from the building with the main dining room in it. My loved one had mobility issues.

Moved in & happy about the place until recently when notified our rent was going up 14%!!! Only 4 months here! Not a thing we can do about it according to sources. We did receive a raise from SS but not a 14% raise!

I believe they stay "on top" of their people. I picked this community because of the price that was offered. My loved one who has dementia, complained their space and problems in the bathroom. My loved one seems to be happy enough now.

This community is wonderful. They're eager to respond to complaints and fix things/make changes. Overall, it's comfortable and beautiful. Good communication with the family. I've heard no complaints about anything from mom so far. The staff is friendly. The food is good quality and variety. They do offer activities, but cancel often if there aren't enough participants. I wish they would still do them for those who want to participate. Housekeeping is once a week and they do a good job. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The staff is friendly and they do have lots of activities. There are times that their response time can be slow when taking care of issues in the apartment..

This facility is pretty good. Staff in the main building is great, staff in mom's building is ok. She did have a leak in her ceiling that took awhile to get fixed, but they finally got it fixed for her. Housekeeping is very frequent and they do a great job. They also do laundry weekly. Communication with the family is great. They have a great variety of activities and outings. The food is ok, quality and variety could improve. It's not as good as promised before we moved her in. Overall, I would recommend them to family and friends.

My grandmother passed away before we ever paid or anything for her to move in. I've been harassed every month about a bill I don't owe for a deceased person. They've changed staff and I keep having to explain my problem to them and management and never get anything resolved. I'm very glad that's not the place my grandmother spent her last moments.

Everything about Brookdale Club Hill is great. I like it here a lot. The people are friendly and caring. My apartment is small but laid out well, and I like living here.
