Overall my mother loved Brookdale, most people there where very caring and she loved the activities. As a family member more attention to proper medication administration would have helped relieve a lot of anxiety. Constant auditing of medication was required by family members to make sure the correct medication was administered and administered in a timely manner. Some days she was given no medication or the incorrect medication when a medication had been changed by her Dr.

As a hospice nurse, I've been coming here and seeing certain patients. The staff is very friendly and helpful to me and the residents. I see the interactions with the resident and staff and the residents are always cared for and they do their best to make sure residents are happy and well cared for.

My mom loved it at Brookdale, but she wanted to "end life," at my house. Brookdale was wonderful and she had all her friends and great connections with staff, but this was her wish.

One thing I love about Brookdale, is the staff is so wonderful. I just can't say enough! I feel Brookdale is a bit pricey, but to get the wonderful staff you have, I get it. Thanks for all you do.

I love it here, wish it was not as expensive. I'm sure it's cheaper than other places. The people here are so nice and respect my space and choices. I like how I can come and go.

Unfortunately, I must come to a facility, to not put a strain on my familiy. But if I had too, this was the place I planned on due to reputation and my friends who are already here. That's all really.

I love it here. This place has been my home, rather than on the street. This is all I know and I don't talk to others. I like to keep to myself, sorry! [name removed] is wonderful. Food, I don't care. I don't eat much.

This place past my first test of cleanliness and smell right when I walked in. The rooms are very fancy and it doesn't feel like a nursing home at all. I was greeted right away when I walked in.

Brookdale has been my dad's place for over [time frame removed]. He just passed and I couldn't do this emotional roller coaster without the staff's support and help knowing he lived his best end of life at Brookdale.

We chose Brookdale Brighton because the location is very convenient to my home. My dad really liked the facility after our tour. It is a smaller facility, there are only about 40 residents, whereas some other facilities have over 100. The staff have all been great especially with all of the Covid stuff going on. We have had no complaints about them whatsoever and neither has my dad. The food is not bad, it is just not the type of food he usually eats. They give very large portions and he is not used to having that much. I did see in a flyer they recently handed out that they are going to shoot for more of a Mediterranean style menu. I would recommend them to other families who are looking.

We chose Brookdale Brighton because of the proximity to our home as well as the caring staff members. I felt that the staff truly cared about the residents, they have their best interest at heart and make it a personalized experience. The way Brookdale does it, everything is an extra charge, so it can get expensive fast. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Brighton because it is a very nice place, everyone is friendly and they take great care of their residents. It is a smaller facility, so the care here is more personalized. I think the rooms are perfect size for 1 person with a walker. They have 0 threshold bathrooms and they don't really have doorways, they are open arches so it is easier to maneuver. They are keeping mom busy with activities and she loves it. It is a safe place to put your loved one and I would highly recommend them to others looking.

Before COVID things were better, now I don't think she is getting the care she needs. The building is clean but her room is not. It has been frustrating because her laundry piles up, her shower wasn't clean, her room smells like urine, there was jello on her carpet, and cheerios behind the chair. The reason I chose this community because was smaller and i thought my mom my mom would get better care in a smaller place. I like the director, the marketing coordinator, the staff are all very nice, and I think they like my mom. The charge extra for additional care services. I took her home and she has three bedsores on her bottom and she was so weak it was horrendous and she could barely get up. I reported this to Brookdale corporate as well.

A Place for Mom has scored Brookdale Brighton 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
