Brighton Gardens provides assisted living in an apartment-style setting that offers the simple pleasures - nutritious food, comfortable surroundings, and the support of a warm, caring and competent staff. A separate Special Care Center for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory related disorders is also on-site. The key to our success in the Special Care Center is our dedicated and compassionate staff, which receives special training and supervision. Our Special Care programming offers a variety of activities designed to achieve memory enrichment and positive social interactions. Caring for residents with dementia is a partnership between the community and the family, frequent family visits are encouraged and support groups and advisory councils are arranged. A Short Stay Program for seniors who need short-term care may also be available. It is the ideal alternative for recuperating after a hospital stay, while family caregivers are on vacation or if you just want to try out assisted living. The financial person REFUSES to call me back or communicate with me. The care that was promised is different than what my loved one receives. Either the staff is not trained well or they ignore what they're supposed to do. They've just recently been bought by Pruitt, so who knows what will happen. I would not recommend the facility to others.

I attended a lovely Thanksgiving luncheon that was much more than I was expecting. From the moment I walked in, there were festive decorations galore, it smelled delightful (not institutional), & the happiness in the air was palpable. The staff was very welcoming & they served each of us a delicious meal. The food was quite flavorful! They provided a traditional Thanksgiving meal, complete with entertainment, mimosas, turkey, several pies to choose from, & all the fixins! It warmed my heart to speak with a nurse who had come in on her day off to sit with one of the residents whose family was unable to attend. I also spoke with several staff members (corporate as well as the sales team) and everyone was so kind & attentive to the residents & their visitors. I've visited loved ones at other senior living communities and the atmosphere and hospitality at Brighton Gardens surpasses them all. The staff truly cares about, and places the needs of their residents at the forefront.

We were greeted at the door and introduced to a Director who walked us through the financial questions we asked. He explained how the community meets and eats together. The Director answered our questions regarding services available to residents. We toured the facility and were shown three different available rooms for mom. The place was decorated for the Holidays and was beautiful.

I recently moved my mom to Brighton Gardens. Both the administration and the caregivers have really helped to ease my mom's transition from living alone in her own home. All of the staff are very knowledgeable about dementia and Alzheimers and I've been able to take queues from them on how to more gracefully interact with my mom. The nurses have been very responsive to all of my questions. My mother's situation is much better now than when she lived alone. She eats better, she's safe 24/7, and I'm no longer worried sick. I would highly recommend Brighton Gardens.

Had the chance to tour here during December for a relative. The Community was very well presented with holiday themes all around, and also had a Menorah. They had a piano player in the main living area providing entertainment for the residents. We enjoyed seeing the library, dining area, salon, onsite PT/OT room, common areas and the 1 bedroom apartment. The concierge and staff were really nice and welcoming, and parking was convenient. The tour gift we received also added a nice tough! We opted to move our relative out of town closer to where more family are, but we would have certainly chosen this Community! Would recommend.

The Brighton Gardens community weren't prepared when we moved in. Room was dirty and no one was prepared even though I called the previous day and spoke with the executive director about it the afternoon of the previous day.

The atmosphere of this facility is actually quite nice. The chemistry between the staff and my loved one is a really good fit. She's a very outgoing person in general and is still able to continue being that way here. Meals and dining were a major factor in our facility decision, and the food is excellent here. Great quality and variety. Communication with the family is pretty good. It's not always timely and can be challenging at times, but overall it's pretty good and their heart is in the right place. The maintenance staff is pretty good, nursing staff is good, administrative staff is really good. The activities director is phenomenal. She does a good job with activities and outings. I will say, medication management is very pricey if you use their pharmacy service. But you do have the option to use your own, so we like that. The total monthly cost at the end of each month can be tricky here. They go by daily rate, so monthly totals/cost can change and vary each month. But the value is pretty good. The one piece of advice that I would give to anyone about this whole process is that you have to establish a relationship with the staff at your loved one's facility, I think that's the biggest key to success. Overall, this facility is a good fit for my loved one and I'm happy that she's where she is. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

They made things and this whole process easier. They seem to be caring and they're helpful when it comes to doing things like helping my mom out with her room. My mom always tell me about their morning exercise class once or twice a week. Every time I visit they're playing board games. They have movie nights, and I think they have a happy hour with drinks and hors d'oeuvres once a week. They also take trips to stores like Target, so residents can pick up items if they need anything. They have events for every holiday. On Fourth of July they had a BBQ and on Mothers Day they had a brunch with mimosas. They even had an Elvis night; they're always doing something and there always constant activities, if you want to participate. You can always find something there that you can join in on. My mom is one of the hardest people I've ever met who never wants to try anything new or do anything different, and yet she ended up there - and she's still there! A Place for Mom: if it wasn't for you guys, I would still be looking for a place. [name removed] interviewed us and asked what we were looking for and what we needed. We had to switch cities, so he had to find places in Atlanta after he had already found places in Pennsylvania. He never complained, he was always nice and helpful in everything. I thought he worked pretty well with me.

It is a great place if your are more on the basic assisted living scale - if you are able to walk places yourself or even wheel yourself in a wheel chair, but if you are in the in between range the quality of care is inconsistent. Sometimes the care was great and other times not so much and the response time could take anywhere between 5 minutes to 4 hours.

After touring and speaking with the staff and seeing the way they interacted with the residents, we decided that Brighton Gardens of Buckhead was the right choice. It is a more welcoming environment and they were thorough and covered everything which made us feel more comfortable. They seem to genuinely try to please the families in any way that they can. Whenever we have any issues and we bring them to their attention, they address it right away. [name removed] and [name removed] have both been great. The caregivers are wonderful and mom feels comfortable and connected with them.

Overall it has been a good experience but at times they are short staffed. We know this is an issue with everybody but because of the shortage of workers sometimes the communication and response time can be a little lacking. However we do understand, they are super nice and are trying their absolute best. We think the dining service is just fine and our loved one seems to be enjoying the meals.

Their communication is a little off - not very frequent, and there have been some misunderstandings. But the care is fine overall. And the facility is in good shape / well maintained.

I would encourage others to look around and see what is best for them. For us, Brighton Gardens is very close to where I live. The staff and the people who provide the care are very nice. The facility is very good. They keep it clean, wash my loved one's clothes, things like that. The only thing I think they're lacking is a doctor that could come in maybe once a week to do a thorough check on the patients. And I don't see as many activities on the memory care side as I would like to.

Sunrise Frisco has been such a wonderful experience for my Mom! The Staff is so caring and she has improved since she has been there! It is nice knowing that Sunrise Frisco treats her like she is their own MOM! Such a blessing having such wonderful people caring for her!
