Atria Encino Terrace

i’ve been here for 4 months and what I can tell you is that there are two things I enjoy here. One of them is going down to dinner time when I get time to sati down , have wonderful conversations with some lovely women. The other thing I like to day is the activities! They have a amazing art class , karaoke which is my favorite thing to do in the world !

I needed to find a place for my sister, and after checking out quite a few in the L.A. area, we chose Atria Encino Terrace. I am very happy we did. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff. [name removed], who gave me the tour and was able to accommodate us, was compassionate and really worked with us to make it happen. [name removed] and the care staff are wonderful, thoughtful and truly care. My sister was very nervous to be moving in, but they put her at ease. The residents all seem very happy with the activities and dining. It's a very hard thing, these transitions. But when you find a place that is well run and with great caring people, it truly helps in easing that emotional burden. I rated it highly.

We're very pleased with Atria Encino. 91 y/o mom is living the good life. Wonderful well maintained facility. Staff always have smiles on their faces. Full schedule of activities to keep residents happy and busy. Thank you all at Atria Encino for the great job you do.

Atria Encino Terrace is conveniently located and well priced. It has decent food and a caring staff. It is big enough to have a community, but small enough to not feel like an institution. After a few months, I am very happy with the experience there. It's the right place for us right now.

Atria Encino Terrace has been a great fit for my mother since her arrival in Aug 2023. What I seek most as primary hallmarks after 13 years of parent care in various assisted living residences are the kindness of staff and the cleanliness of the residence. After that, the responsiveness of management, then the delivery of medical /wellness services, meals, and activities. Many residences advertise this, but Atria Encino Terrace actually delivers a feeling of family because many of the care staff and management have worked together in the community for years. Turnover in staff at other residences creates confusion and impersonality for the residents and their families. Her meds are given regularly which I can see from the improvement of her chronic conditions. Meals are recognizable, homey foods that people eat. The Engagement director and staff not only schedule a variety of activities day and evening, but sweetly interact with residents throughout.

5 all around! What our family likes the most about the Atria Encino Terrace are the staff members, they are great and overall we have had a great experience so far. The community itself is clean and updated. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I like The staff very much, they are very attentive and always friendly and I enjoyed being here very much. I especially love going to the dining room.

The cleaning staff is amazing , they are always keeping the room organized and smelling wonderful The food is GREAT ! Different type of food and there’s so many different activities to do that keeps you busy.

hi my name is [name removed] I’m staying Encino Terrace and it’s a it’s a lovely the dining room especially I like I’ve been in other places on tours the tables are very close together. It’s like a cafeteria but here it’s totally different. There’s plenty of room between tables and everybody I’ve met here has a smile, and they at least they smile at me. Maybe it’s because I look funny I don’t know but anyway, they are the food sex. The food is just fabulous and [name removed] the chef. he really cares about his food because every single day he comes out to make sure everybody’s happy and if you’re not happy, you tell him and he’ll fix it and they’re all like that everybody that works here at the pet that I have met that I have had words with they’ve always had a smile. So as I said, it’s just a smiling place and yeah, if you wanna move into an assisted living home, this is it And if you want to say hi to me, I’ll be in the dining room three times a day on the right hand side with a big mouth

My loved one was a resident at Atria Encino Terrace. Overall, our experience at this facility was very good. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff and care services were very good. The activities were okay. I would recommend this facility to others.

I’ve lived at Atria , for some years now and loving it. The Activities program is wonderful and full of energy, the food is good, the building is always clean and my care staff are wonderful. The managers are very friendly and willing to help when needed.

Like what I always say it’s not a perfect community but you will feel it’s a big family that all staffs and residents have a big heart to care and love each other. Staffs are very friendly, hardworking, trustworthy, caring, helpful and very knowledgeable. They have a good activities around the building that the residents can join and they will not get bored.

I have been living for a long time. What like about my living here is, Happy hours because I love music and dancing, I enjoy my meals especially my desserts chef [name removed] is wonderful, I enjoy weekly outings to shopping and casinos, parks, malls,restaurants, spending time with [name removed] is always fun.

I leave at this community for almost a years, and I love it. I have made a lot of friends in the dining room we are called a happy table we are always laughing. I love being out of the community with my friends we went to the casino and had a blast. Everyone loves my cat that helps me make more friends. Overall I love living here wouldn’t go anywhere else.

They have been wonderful overall, but there have been some difficulties along the way. I just encourage people to be on top of things and advocate for your loved ones instead of relying on them to do everything.

I recently moved my Aunt into this facility and could not be happier with the care and consideration provided to us by [name removed]. He made tge transition as nice as possible. I am looking forward to watching her be a part of this wonderful community.

We chose Atria Encino Terrace because they were very professional, quick response, and just great all around. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and welcoming from the get go. My father was hesitant to come at first, but felt very comfortable and right at home. Everything has worked out much better than we could have ever hoped for. I would definitely recommend Atria to others looking.

We had a bad experience all around. They were extremely understaffed, and administration overpromised the level of care they could provide. The care staff themselves seemed fine, but they just couldn't provide the service and care that was promised. They were supposed to help feed my loved one, and they didn't. They did not listen to us voice our concerns as a medical condition that arose worsened, and we had to call an outside nurse to provide the care they should have provided themselves. When we left, they tried to charge us for services that were not rendered. So be very upfront and clear when you're singing the contract. This was nowhere near what we expected from an Atria community. It's like thinking you're going to a Marriott and you get the Courtyard Marriot instead.

It's clean, and a good place overall. But my family member didn't find people to be very sociable. And Encino Terrace didn't introduce him to anyone, which he was a little disappointed in. The staff are very friendly and nice though. There were extra costs he wasn't expecting, and he's still a little confused as to what services he should be getting for what he's paying.
